Who makes Sakaba

Sakaba is an iPhone and iPad app for classic cocktails: 1000+ recipes, guided mixing, your home bar and a tasting journal. It is made by an independent developer.

How the Help Center and the blog are written

• Recipes. Every recipe on this site is the app’s own, with the same ingredients and amounts, checked against the app before a post is published.
• Sources. History, dates and other facts about the world link to where they come from. Where a story is disputed, the post says so.
• Other apps. When a post compares Sakaba with another app, it says that we make Sakaba, gives the date the facts were checked, links to the other app’s own pages, and says where the other app is better.
• Ten languages. The site is published in the app’s 10 languages, and features are named the way the app names them in each language. If something reads wrong in yours, please tell us.

Drink responsibly

Sakaba is rated 17+ on the App Store and is meant for adults of legal drinking age where they live. The recipes and posts are about making good drinks, not about drinking more of them.

Your data

Sakaba has no account. Your recipes, bar and tasting journal stay on your device and in your own iCloud. What the app and this website handle, and why, is in the Privacy Policy. The rules for using Sakaba are in the Terms of Use.
